# Integrations

> Connect Verbu to the tools you already use — bookings, calendars, and customer systems.

Verbu becomes more useful when it can do things in your existing tools — check a calendar, create a booking, look up a customer. The integrations in this section let your agent do that on the phone, while it's still talking to the caller.

## How integrations work, in plain terms

When you connect an integration, two things happen:

1. **Your agent learns what's in the connected system.** For a booking tool, that means it knows your services, your staff, and what's actually bookable.
2. **Your agent can take action.** It can create a booking, look up a customer, or update a record — without you doing anything afterwards.

You don't need to write any code. You log in, give Verbu permission, and pick what you want the agent to be able to do.
